Die cutting

Challenging shapes can be manufactured both precisely and economically on automated die cutting systems. The material is compressed and cut under high pressure using a cutting die. Especially for larger series, the speed advantage of die cutting plays to its strength. It is generally the least expensive method for producing items with arbitrary geometries.

We use lift table and travelling head presses with various cutting pressures, including a brand-new high-speed press with 100 tonnes of cutting pressure and a travelling head measuring 650 x 650 mm. All die cutting presses are high-quality automated units from two German machine manufacturers from the Palatinate. High cutting pressures make it possible to process numerous items in multiple layers, thereby saving costs. The material can be processed from rolls or sheet stock. So-called “kiss cutting”, i.e. manufacturing items that are partially cut through and partially cut to depth, is also possible with our automated presses.

Contract die cutting

Our die-cutting machines are also available for contract die-cutting services. You supply your materials, and we will die cut them using either a custom-made cutting die created specifically for you or your own tool. We also offer additional services such as assembly and finishing. Our die cutting machines can also handle composites, non-wovens, and filter materials.
