Contour milling

We use a contour milling system from a specialised German machine manufacturer to process PUR flexible foam materials. This system enables us to machine the outer contours of items and to mill sponges to round, oval, or waisted shapes in various dimensions.

Different types of PUR flexible foam materials with varying density and compression hardness can generally be machined. With the use of matching templates and the selection and adaptation of suitable milling heads, we are able to produce sponges in a wide range of lengths, widths, and thicknesses, as well as forming their outer contours in different shapes determined by the application or the customer request.

We also offer contour milling as a service. You supply your raw materials in block, sheet, or pre-cut form, and we process them in our contour milling machine to produce round, oval, or tapered sponges. We will be happy to advise you on the various options of our contour milling machine.
