Foam processing for numerous areas of application

Our product diversity for all industries and applications

Foams and other cellular materials are used in a wide range of applications due to their special properties. The characteristic cellular structure of foams makes them lightweight yet robust materials. As a result, foams are used in a wide range of products both in industry and in everyday life.

A major advantage of foams is their damping property. Due to their cellular structure, foams absorb shocks and vibrations, making them ideal for use in industrial and technical applications. In addition, foams are also good sound insulators, which is why they are used for acoustic insulation of rooms or in the automotive industry, for example.

Another important area of application for foams is the packaging industry. Due to their lightweight and mouldable properties, foams are ideal for protecting sensitive goods during transport. Whether as packaging material for electronic devices or as padding for sensitive items, foams ensure that products arrive undamaged at the customer's premises.

Foams are also frequently used in the healthcare sector. Medical mattresses, seat cushions and bandages made from foams offer patients comfort and support. In addition, foams are also used in wound care as wound dressings.

This is by no means the end of the possible applications for foams: in our 60-year company history, we have already manufactured over 4,000 different products. Thanks to our high processing depth with all common technologies and maximum flexibility with regard to production quantities, we can find a suitable solution for every customer requirement. Foam and other cellular materials cover a tremendous range of technical properties and offer versatile design possibilities. As a result, they are used in a variety of applications, including the automotive industry, mechanical engineering, and other industrial sectors.

On account of their open cellular structure, PUR flexible foam materials are primarily used in the application of liquids and pastes, but also as filter media or in wound and fracture care. On the other hand, harder foam materials such as PUR composite foams or PE foams are mainly used in rehab technology.

Foam materials are distinguished by low weight, high shock and impact resistance, and pleasant appearance and feel. They are therefore becoming more and more popular in the packaging sector. Depending on the application and product, either PUR flexible foam materials or harder PE foam materials are used.

For professional cleaning or private household use, car care and cleaning, shoe and leather careā€”PUR flexible foam materials feature an open cellular structure and excellent absorptive capacity for liquids and care products. As a result, they guarantee gentle treatment with thorough results.

Promotional and advertising items are especially well received when they have some practical value. Sponges and other items made of foam are therefore ideal advertising materials, particularly for products and services related to cleaning and care. However, even for car care, household use, or recreation, unique promotional items can be designed with foam materials that will be remembered for a long time.
